baden-baden
am Tannenhof
Südwestrundfunk planned a major spatial restructuring at the Baden-Baden site in 2014. In the course of this, the "Am Tannenhof" area was to be converted and developed as a general residential area with a mixture of different residential forms.
In coordination with the city of Baden-Baden, SWR carried out an EU-wide investor selection procedure, from which EPPLEZWEI GmbH emerged as winners in cooperation with Kuehn-Malvezzi Architekten, Levin Monsigny, Pesch und Partner, Knapp Haedecke and Transsolar.
The four-hectare site could be purchased because the investor developed products and architecture motivated by urban development in the three construction phases for the core target groups we identified – double-earner couples, families, couples 50+ and singles – which are tailored to the microlocation on the one hand and to the needs of future residents on the other:
Valley: Stacked terraced houses for
families
Slope location: 7 individual
point houses for all core target groups
Plateau: 7 urban villas for barrier-free
living, especially for singles and couples
50+.
